There are some persons who wish to join The Finnish National Team Supporters’ Association or the supporters’ club, especially foreigners supporting Finnish football...

What?
If you visit the webpage of The Finnish National Team Supporters’ Association you will see that all the information in the website is solely in Finnish. The website can be in English or more other languages to reach to more supporters in both home and abroad.

Why?
There are some persons who wish to join The Finnish National Team Supporters’ Association or the supporters’ club, especially foreigners supporting Finnish football. I know of some individual that are not Finnish but have strong mental support for Finnish football and they would become Finnish football fan or supporter if they have the opportunity. There could also be Finnish in the Diaspora that do not understand Finnish language – maybe they have Finnish parents but were not born in Finland.

So, as English is the most widely spoken language, it will be good for The Finnish National Team Supporters’ Association to also have translation of their website in English.

In addition, Supporters outside Finland might want to attend Finnish national football team matches abroad. So, one of the easy ways for them to get ticket to attend and meet with other supporters from Finland will be pre-communication and contact – this can be through the website.

Who?
Everyone that does not understand Finnish language but wish to become Finnish football fan or supporter faces this kind of challenge and this challenge should be addressed by The Finnish National Team Supporters’ Association or Finnish Football Association.

When?
This challenge should be addressed anytime soon, as many non Finnish speaking supporters would appreciate this. Although there might not be serious pressure on the FA or The Finnish National Team Supporters’ Association at the moment, but a swift response will be good generally for Finnish football, since the supporters’ team play a very big role in the success of football team

Where?
Apart from the website translation to English or more other languages, there can also be creation other websites for fans or supporters in other countries.

Research question: How can non finnish speaking football supporter join the Finnish supporter club with the language barrier?
